PENERAPAN METODE PROTOTYPING UNTUK APLIKASI GREEN FIX SEBAGAI SARANA PELAYANAN ADUAN MASYARAKAT

Public complaints regarding environmental issues, such as illegal waste disposal, pollution, and damage to public facilities, are still often reported using traditional methods. This results in slow handling processes and ineffective complaint recording. The use of information technology through mobile applications is expected to be a solution to improve the efficiency of public complaint services. This study aims to apply the prototyping method in the development of the GreenFix application as a tool for handling mobile-based public complaints. The prototyping method was chosen because it can directly involve users in the design stage, resulting in the application being more aligned with user desires. The research steps included user needs analysis, initial prototype creation, user assessment, prototype refinement, and final system development. The results of the study indicate that the GreenFix application makes it easier for the public to submit environmental complaints quickly, easily, and regularly. In addition, this application also supports managers in monitoring, verifying, and responding to complaints received. Thus, the application of the prototyping method has proven effective in creating an application that suits user needs and improves the quality of public complaint services.
