Peer Review Process
Articles submitted must comply with the JISM template, which can be downloaded from the JISM website. Articles will be rejected if they do not conform to the JISM template. Authors will receive a reply via email once the article draft has been received by the editorial staff.
The review process (double-blind) will take approximately 4 weeks, and the editorial staff will send the reviewer's decision letter to the author. There are 3 outcomes: (1) accepted without revisions, (2) accepted with (major/minor) revisions, and (3) rejected. For articles accepted without revisions, they will be forwarded to the editorial staff for the final editing process, while articles accepted with revisions will be returned to the authors for content improvement.
The maximum time for revision is 3 weeks from the receipt of the reviewer's letter. Revised articles will be returned to the reviewer for further review. There is a possibility of a second revision if there is a discrepancy between the revised article and the reviewer's recommendations. The maximum time for the second revision is 2 weeks, and if no desired changes are made, the reviewer will reject the article.
